The coverall is the garment energy and industrial crews live in — one piece that has to protect the torso, arms and legs through a full shift, then survive industrial laundry and do it again. Our flame resistant coveralls are cut from our documented FR fabric platforms and built as a distributor program: three fabric platforms, a consistent size run, and construction details specified in the quote, not improvised on the line.
Coverall styles in production
FR Coverall — core style
- Fabric platform: modacrylic-cotton FR blend (60% modacrylic / 38% cotton / 2% carbon fibres) or cotton FR (99% cotton / 1% antistatic fibre)
- Weight: 270 GSM standard; 280–360 GSM garment-weight options for heavier duty cycles
- Construction: two-way front closure, action back, elasticated waist section, five-plus pocket layout, bar-tacked stress points
- Program basis: MOQ 3,000 pieces per style
Cotton FR Coverall — comfort-led option
For crews who work long shifts in hot climates, the 99% cotton FR platform is the breathability- and hand-feel-led option, while the 1% antistatic fibre keeps static behaviour controlled around sensitive equipment. Same pattern block and size run as the core style, so a distributor can offer both fabrics under one size chart.
FR Softshell Coverall program
Where wind and light rain are part of the job, our FR softshell construction (350 GSM, FR PU membrane with modacrylic-blend lining) extends the coverall pattern into a weather-facing garment. Quoted per program — ask for the current fabric card when you send your inquiry.
Built against the standards your market sells on
Coverall programs are specified against NFPA 2112 (flash fire) and EN ISO 11612 (heat and flame) requirement frameworks, with fabric and garment construction confirmed in writing before sampling. If your market also asks for arc-rated options, tell us the target category and we will state plainly which of our fabric platforms can be put forward for it — we do not print a rating a fabric has not been specified for.
Sizing, labelling and packing
- Size run: full adult range on one graded chart; tall and short fittings on request
- Labelling: your woven brand label, size and care labels to your market's language set
- Packing: individual polybag or bulk-fold; carton marks with your PO references
- Lead times: samples 7 days; Myanmar bulk production 90–120 days, China bulk 35 days (production time, freight excluded)
Ordering notes
Coveralls are a sewn-to-order program. The fastest route to an accurate quote is to send: target standard (NFPA 2112 or EN ISO 11612), preferred fabric platform, estimated pieces per size, and any logo or labelling requirement. We return fabric options with GSM, the MOQ position and a production slot in the first reply.
Frequently asked questions
Which fabric platforms do you use for coveralls? Two documented platforms — cotton FR (99% cotton / 1% antistatic fibre, 270 GSM) and modacrylic-cotton FR (60/38/2, 270 GSM), with heavier 280–360 GSM garment builds. Each program is specified against NFPA 2112 or EN ISO 11612, FR performance is evidenced by test reports for the platform, and service life follows the documented care instructions and your inspection criteria. Our buying guide walks through how to evaluate FR fabrics: inherent FR vs treated FR fabric.
Can coveralls be ordered in hi-vis colors? Yes — FR fabrics can be run in high-visibility yellow and orange shades for combined FR + hi-vis programs. Tape application to EN ISO 20471 placement rules is available on the same garment.
What GSM should I choose? 270 GSM suits most industrial coverall programs; heavier 280–360 GSM options serve abrasive or colder environments. Our FR coverall GSM guide walks through the trade-offs.
