In hot plants and summer field work, the FR layer crews will actually wear is a shirt, not a coverall. Our FR shirt program covers both woven FR shirts for structured uniform programs and knitted FR polo shirts for supervisors, drivers and mixed-duty crews — lighter cloth, the same spec discipline as the rest of the FR range.
Shirt styles in production

- Details: two chest pockets with flaps, pen slot, back yoke pleats, long or short sleeve
- Use case: plants that standardise on a shirt-and-pants FR uniform instead of coveralls
FR Henley & Knit Shirt options
For North American programs that prefer a henley or crew-neck FR knit, the polo platform extends to button-neck and plain-neck builds on the same 200–220 GSM FR knit family. Ask for the knit fabric card with your inquiry.
Why FR shirting sells
FR shirts sit at the intersection of two buying logics: the compliance budget (they are part of the PPE issue) and the uniform budget (they carry the company identity). A distributor who can offer one supplier for the FR shirt, the FR pants beneath it and the FR jacket over it wins the whole program instead of one line item. Our shirt patterns are graded to sit inside the same size system as the rest of the range, so mixed orders pack and label consistently.
Specification and compliance basis
Shirt programs are specified against NFPA 2112 and EN ISO 11612 frameworks, with fabric composition and GSM confirmed in the quote. Knit FR styles are put forward for the programs they suit — we will tell you plainly where a woven platform is the better answer for your target standard.

Frequently asked questions
Are FR polo shirts really protective, or just FR-look uniforms? Ours are sewn from our FR knit platform — a protective fabric specified by composition and weight in the quote, with performance evidenced by test reports for the platform, not an FR-look print or surface effect. As with any FR garment, the quote states the fabric platform and weight so your compliance team can judge the specification.
Can we colour-match our company colour? On program volumes, yes for the knit platform. Send a Pantone reference or a physical swatch; lab dips are approved before bulk dyeing.
What is the lightest FR shirt you offer? The FR polo platform at 200–220 GSM is our lightest standard build, designed for warm-climate compliance where heavier coveralls get refused by crews.
Colour and identity options
FR shirting carries more of a company's visible identity than any other FR garment, so the knit and woven platforms both run in program colourways beyond the standard navy, royal and khaki family — including hi-vis yellow and orange builds for combined FR + visibility roles. Colour approval is by lab dip against your reference before bulk dyeing, and the approved dip is filed with the program so reorders match the first issue rather than drifting shade by shade.
