FR Pants & Flame Resistant Trousers

Platforms Cotton FR · Modacrylic blendsFabric 270–360 GSMBasis NFPA 2112 · EN ISO 11612

FR pants take the hardest wear in the whole uniform: knees, seats and hems abrade against plant floors, ladders and vehicle steps all shift long. Our flame resistant trouser program is built on the same documented FR fabric platforms as our coveralls and jackets, weighted for abrasion first — because a protective trouser that wears through in a month protects nobody.

Trouser styles in production

FR Work Trouser — core style

FR Cargo Trouser

The utility build: bellows cargo pockets with flaps, phone pocket, ruler pocket — the pattern plants and field-service crews ask for by name. Same fabric platforms and size run as the core trouser, so a program can mix flat-front (office-facing) and cargo (field) styles on one fabric approval.

FR Jean-Cut Trouser

A five-pocket jean block on FR denim-weight cloth for buyers whose crews reject a uniform look. Offered on the heavier end of the fabric range; ask for current cloth availability when you inquire.

Matched to the rest of the FR program

FR pants are graded inside the same size system as our FR shirts and coveralls, and dyed to match the shirt and jacket shades in your program, so mixed sets read as one uniform. Waist sizes run the full adult range with short / regular / long inseam options; women's fit available on the core block.

Specification and compliance basis

Trouser programs are specified against NFPA 2112 and EN ISO 11612 frameworks. Fabric composition, GSM and wash behaviour are stated in the quotation; the bulk cloth is the sampled cloth, held under our AQL 2.5 / 4.0 release system with SGS / ITS third-party inspection accepted before shipment.

Frequently asked questions

Can FR pants be combined with hi-vis tape? Yes — reflective leg bands can be applied to FR trousers for combined visibility programs, placed to the tape rules your market's standard requires.

How is FR durability managed in service? FR performance for each platform is documented by test reports for the specified standard. In service, retirement is driven by fabric condition — thinning, holes, contamination — assessed under your inspection criteria, with laundering per the documented care instructions. Durability is a property of the tested platform and its care record, not a wash-count promise.

Do you offer FR pants in shorts? FR shorts are not part of the standard program; protective trousers are specified as full-leg garments in the standards our buyers work to. Ask us about cropped or three-quarter builds only where your risk assessment allows them.

Fit and waistband options

Trousers are the garment crews judge a program by, so the block allows real choices: elasticated side-waist or full elastic back for shift comfort, button or hook-and-bar closure, and a gusseted crotch build for climbing and kneeling trades. Knee-pad pockets can be added to the cargo block for maintenance crews. All options run on the same approved fabric platform, so adding a fit feature never reopens the fabric specification — the pants that arrive match the pants that were sampled, option by option.
