For summer sites and indoor-outdoor crews, the visibility layer is a shirt. Our hi vis shirt program runs from the classic reflective T-shirt — the highest-volume warm-weather style in the range — to piqué polos and heavier terry knits, all in fluorescent grounds with reflective tape applied in band layouts, not token strips.
Shirt styles in production
Hi-Vis Reflective T-Shirt — volume style
- Fabric: lightweight fluorescent knit, short sleeve
- Tape: silver reflective band(s) around the torso; shoulder-brace option
- Program basis: MOQ 5,000 pieces per style — the range's volume entry point
Hi-Vis Piqué Polo
- Fabric: piqué knit, 55% cotton / 45% polyester, 180 GSM — cotton against the skin, polyester holding the fluorescent color
- Details: ribbed collar (solid-color tipping option), three-button placket, side vents
- Use case: supervisors, drivers and customer-facing crews who need visibility with a uniform look
Terry & Poly-Cotton Hi-Vis Shirts
- Terry knit option: 65/35 at 300 GSM for cooler seasons and heavier wear
- Poly-cotton option: 80/20 at 230 GSM for woven-shirt builds — long-sleeve shirts with tape for markets that standardise on a shirt silhouette rather than a tee
Custom hi vis shirts: color, tape, logo
Custom programs on this page start from three choices: ground shade (fluorescent yellow, fluorescent orange, or two-tone with a navy or black lower body), tape layout (single band, double band, or bands with shoulder braces), and logo method (print, heat transfer or embroidery — embroidery suits the polo platform best). Mixed size runs inside one program are standard; long-sleeve and short-sleeve versions of the same style can share one fabric approval.
A note on ratings
A T-shirt's tape area and ground coverage decide whether it can be put forward for a rated class in your market's system (EN ISO 20471 / ANSI/ISEA 107). Our standard builds are patterned to those rules; where a style is a visibility garment rather than a rated one — some fashion-cut tees, for example — the quote says so plainly. Frequently asked questions
Why do hi vis shirts fade faster than vests? Fluorescent pigments are UV-sensitive and knit shirts live in direct sun. Our piqué platform puts polyester on the face — polyester holds fluorescent dyeings better than cotton — and the care instructions in your program should still call for shade drying. It is a fabric-physics issue, not a defect, and we will tell you the expected behavior for each platform in the quote.
Can we run our company color as the lower body on a two-tone shirt? Yes. Two-tone builds with navy, black or green lower bodies are standard; a corporate solid color can be matched on program volumes.
What is the minimum for printed logos? Logo printing sits inside the shirt program MOQ (5,000 pieces for tees). One-color chest print is included in most program quotes; multi-color back prints are quoted by artwork.
